lyrics
A call from inner strength
Smites our fears
Reaching forth to taunt the arrows
Straight from thy hand
In each bend of the bow
Time shall stand
A scourge of the land
He changes his course
By his own hand
Fear not
Brothers
We shall win this day
Territories of the mind
Well within command
Sufficed, the war is uphill
A strand of fatigue
Yet still, further march on
Lay claim to your keep
I who'd beckon force
With arrows in hand
I'd grasp the sky above
As to never fall or stray
I who defied virtue
With arrows in my hand
Fell fires of false regard
Are all that stand in our way
Failures in life
Have chosen to live this way
To fall through abyss
To wither away
I chose variation
To avoid that path
As a shadow I walk
With arrows in hand

I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon. Epic choirs, vikingesque themes and tales from the other times, of the Finnish paganism back in the days before our ancestors were brought to the cross and forced to kneel while feeling the bloody sword of saviour on their throats made to kiss the hand of murderers who burnt thousands, tore down our holy places and took our holy days. Eyes teary I listen to these songs, never forgiving the crimes of the cross! Peikonmieli
Very late to the party, but for several years I've found melodic black metal all too similar and all albums sounding like Dissection, etc... HOWEVER, not only I am back into it but UADA is still a layer of complexity above the main baseline and this is an old album worth having, that's a basic milestone in UADA's discography and I felt it needed to be part of my BC collection. sachavonkarl74
Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once..... grote_smurf
Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
